An Opinion On “Copenhagen, Cap and Trade, and Political Hubris”

He makes some interesting points but all are very generalized. If we want to make a case against the liberals and the political loaded conclusions, we all need to get a little more specific about the actually theory that invalidota2 release dates the 10,000s of studies that back research consortiums like the IPCC, let alone the independent studies that have been compiled to meet their conclusions. For instance, looking at average temperature charts and saying impacts to date are immeasurable and can be interpreted differently is to some degree uninformed about what the conclusions to date are saying about future risks. When one looks at the poles and sees temperature changes of 5 degree, that’s the focus of the risk we face – not minute average temperatures around the globe. The same with precipitation that on average hasn’t changed much, but if you live in southwest Australia, you’ll disagree. And to say that CO2 was higher 300,000 years ago may be valid, but we also lost 90% of the species on the earth – which happens naturally during the big swings (and ironically also create an explosion of species diversity following those huge swings). In the end, it all doesn’t matter as the earth will correct our mistakes every 400,000 years. So the question is do we collectively care or do we leave ourselves to a higher order?
